PCBA Manufacturing Process

The rationality of PCBA’s surface mounting methods and assembly process flow design directly affects assembly quality, production efficiency, and manufacturing costs. At YaHengCircuitCo., Ltd., we strive to optimize and improve our assembling process to provide quality to customers with cost savings.

The Typical Surface Mounting Methods:

The typical surface mounting methods include single-sided mixed mount and double-sided mixed mount. Full surface mount refers to both sides of the PCB being entirely covered with surface-mounted components (SMC/SMD). Single-sided mixed mount involves a combination of SMC/SMD and through-hole components (THC) on one side of the PCB, with THC placed in front and SMC/SMD potentially on either the primary or secondary side. Double-sided mixed mount indicates both sides of the PCB having SMC/SMD, with THC placed in front, or possibly having THC on both sides. Please refer to the diagram below for details.
